The Marshall 1962 Bluesbreaker Combo Amp is just like the one used by Eric Clapton during his stint with Mayall's Bluesbreakers and famously on the Beano sessions. With 45W output and 2x12 speakers, it produces a gutsy bass and vibrant top, coupled with an overall natural warmth. The valve rectification output stage, pioneered by Marshall in the early 1960s, is responsible for helping achieve the famed compression and sustain exhibited uniquely by both the JTM45 and 1962. Though somewhat tonally similar to a JTM45, the 1962 combo is loaded with 2 Celestion Greenback 25W speakers and also comes with a footswitchable tremolo effect.

This all-tube Marshall 1959SLPX tone machine cranks out fabulous lead distortion and tight crunch exactly like the original model from the 1967 to 1969 era. Inspired by Pete Townshend's unquenchable thirst for VOLUME, this guitar amp head features 100W of power from 4 EL34s and 3 ECC83s in the preamp the exact configuration of the original. Angled Cabinet History and Sound
A (Angled) cabinets came about because Jim Marshall felt a head on a straight front cab just didn't look "designed." The sides and baffle of the cabinet feature an angled cut. This has both a cosmetic impact and a sonic one since the top two 12" speakers angle slightly upwards. It has more dispersion and is a little brighter-sounding than a straight cabinet.

B (Base) cabinets offer some sonic differences. A straight cab sounds more focused and has more low-end thump. The additional size gives the cabinet a lower resonant frequency for more low-end. All speakers facing the same direction gives a more focused sound. Many players prefer to use only the B cabs, even when they are on stage with a full stack. Zakk Wylde (Ozzy's guitarist) uses only the B cabs because of the tighter low end and because (believe it or not) he values his hearing and the sound from the B cab doesn't hit him directly in the head.

The Marshall MG412A cabinet is loaded with Celestion 4x12" , 30 Watt custom designed speakers and are 8 Ohm mono. They're made to run with Marshall's MG100HDFX but can be used with any Marshall head (aside from the MF350). The speakers are designed to be run with the MG100HDFX head for maximum tonal flexibility and to achieve the tight bottom end that the MG's are known for. The MG412A does not include castors.

“This Marshall compact 4X12 cabinet with the 30w Celestions is easy to overdrive but has great bottom-end with alot of crunch. I run a Marshall AVT50w head through this cabinet and it is as loud as my older Marshall Super Lead 100 heads were.
