Here is a great example of a well preserved vintage Rogers 1965 Rogers Powertone 14" snare drum. This is the cleanest Rogers drum we've ever seen. Shown in its original condition. Made in Covington Ohio in the Rogers plant 1965. This is an 8 lug chrome over brass drum. All original! Still has the original Rogers weather king heads from the factory. The muffler moves up and down as it should and the throw off works perfectly. All in excellent working condition. Even with the old heads this drum sounds great! No dings or dents at all. Being picky we can see very little micro scratches in the mirror finish, but as you can see in the photos, this is the cleanest Rogers snare around. This drum sat in a basement for the last 40 years.
