This Selmer Composite Pre-owned Oboe is shown in excellent condition and is the perfect student oboe model. This oboe has minimal normal wear on the keys and still look very shiny. The metal components of this particular oboe are also in great shape. As you can see in the photos, the keys have been polished, the corks have been replaced, and any sort of pad replacement or repair that needed to be done has been done. With this oboe you will also find a tube of cork grease, which will help with assembly. This instrument has been play tested and approved by our in house band tech to play perfectly. Midlothian Music is a service center, we soak, clean and sanitize every instrument. The tone holes and inner bore are scrubbed as well as all of the keys and armature. During reassembly we adjust all keys to a light finger touch. Pads and key corks inspected, cleaned and replaced if needed. Leak tested before placing in cleaned case. This instrument plays extremely well and you won't be disappointed!
