The Olds Special is not a student model but a step up model made in the USA. Even pro players played this model back in the day. The Special is a tri color model made from nickel, copper and brass. Beautiful engraving on the bell. This horn is straight and everything works as it should. There is some normal cosmetic wear as it should for a 60's player trumpet. FE Olds made quality horns in the US and this one is a good player and sounds great!

As a service center, we disassemble soak the horn and mouthpiece so it is sanitized. The mouthpiece was sanitized, soaked in a solution and polished, then comes to you in a zip lock baggie to be free from germs. We clean and lube the valves. Replace the spit valve cork and grease the slides. You won't be disappointed with the playability and sound from this trumpet. Clean and ready to go!
