This pre-owned Getzen 300 series trumpet is more than just a student instrument. You can expect excellent performance, quality features, and above all, exceptional abilities at meeting the needs of newer trumpet players! This trumpet is excellent for the beginner and intermediate player and is very inexpensive.
This trumpet is made in the USA with quality parts. Getzen is a great brand and on every school band list of approved instruments. This trumpet is shown in good condition, it plays perfectly and sounds great. There is some normal wear that you will see from a pre-owned instrument but nothing major that would affect the sound or playability. The trumpet is perfectly straight. There are light scratches near the back of the trumpet and there is a minor small ding on the bottom near the end (opposite of the bore). Very hard to see.
The case shows some wear which doesn't inhibit its ability to protect the trumpet. Our in-house band tech signed off on and gave this trumpet the seal of approval, after a full overhaul, cleaning, sanitizing and testing. The mouthpiece has been cleaned, polished, sanitized and placed in a plastic bag so it is free from any germs. Comes with a Getzen USA 7C mouthpiece.
As a service center, we disassemble soak the horn and the mouthpiece so it is sanitized and germ free. We soak every instrument then clean and lube the valves and grease the slides. All valves move freely and respond nicely. The slides cleaned and lubed properly and move with ease. Lastly the mouthpiece is cleaned/sanitized then put in a ziplock baggie. You won't be disappointed with the playability and sound from this trumpet. Cleaned and ready to play!
