G&L USA Legacy - Surf Green Gloss Finish
If you're a fan of vintage guitars from the 60's and hoped that they could beef up a few critical issues, then this is the guitar for you! This USA made Legacy is shown in a surf green gloss finish and is classic looking, with a 3-ply parchment white pick guard and S-type parchment knobs!
The modern classic maple neck has a satin light tint finish with a rosewood fingerboard and white pearl inlay markers. Comes with (3) hand-wound Alnico single coil G&L pickups that are more chimey and more powerful. G&L uses Jescar medium jumbo nickel frets for better tone as well as longer life for your instrument. The Legacy controls are Volume, Bass and Treble, unlike the Stratocaster that has no tone control for the bridge pickup!
G&L has tone control on all 3 pickups because the bass and treble controls work on all switch positions. These are well thought out boutique guitars. Hand made in Fullerton California.
