Over the years Orange has made subtle improvements to the Rockerverb 50 MKII Combo including a half power switch, a beefier transformer and a foot switchable attenuator. The 50 watt all tube combo has been a staple in the field for decades. Made in the UK, the Rockerverb 50 has 2 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers playing through and partial open back plywood cabinet. The two channel design is clean and gain with a cool tube/spring reverb.
The clean side has been improved to a more enhanced articulate response but maintaining the warmth of the original tones. And with the upgraded transformer there is greater headroom, more range from the reverb and usable tone leaving you with one of the best sounding versions ever made.
The gain channel is still true to the vintage tone Orange is known for with all of the amazing British tone. The MKIII now has all of that and more to include more for todays genres and clarity.
Lastly 50 watts of tube power is plenty to play most venues. The Rockerverb 50 MK III is now equipped with a foot switchable attenuator. When playing on stage the attenuator can be used as a boost or for reducing stage volume at the tap of a switch.
