Without proper control, your guitar can develop sharp fret ends, neck bow, a sunken top or lifted bridge, lower string height, buzzing notes, cracking of the neck and body, a change in tone of the instrument, and other major issues that compromise playability.
To prevent these issues, it’s essential to keep your instrument in the ideal humidity range of 45–50% relative humidity (RH).
