But that's not all it does — flip its Octa/Fuzz switch to the Fuzz setting, and you'll conjure up some of the nastiest non-Octavia grunge tones you've ever experienced.
The Octafuzz is a breeze to dial in, courtesy of its streamlined 2-knob layout, and it responds beautifully to your guitar's volume control. This fuzz guitar effects pedal boasts the same brand of transistors as a 1970s original, along with a near-bulletproof Fulltone-made 3PDT footswitch and a compact — yet eminently robust — steel housing. Tycobrahe-style fuzzes are among the most coveted around, and few stompboxes deliver the tonal goods as effectively as the Octafuzz OF-2.
Note: This pedal runs on a 9-volt battery or a reversed-polarity power adapter with a positive center pin. Using this pedal with a standard power adapter will damage both the adapter and the pedal, and it could be a fire hazard.
