The Phase 90 has been a mainstay on the pedal boards of millions of players around the globe ever since. The greatest guitar players—from David Gilmour and Eddie Van Halen to Tom Morello and John Mayer—have used this pedal to expand the canon of rock ’n’ roll.
Released in 1972 as MXR’s first offering, the Phase 90 launched one of the most iconic music effects companies and established itself as the pedal by which all other phasers are judged. No matter the genre or instrument, its distinctly lush voice will elevate any musician’s tonal palette.
This pedal is powered by a single 9-volt battery (remove bottom plate to install), a 9-volt AC adapter such as the Dunlop ECB003/ECB003EU, or an MXR Brick Series power supply.
