Perfect action and looks like no wear at all on any of the frets. No scratchy pots or switches. You will not be disappointed! Extremely clean and very high gloss!
"Roundabout." The sound of that legendary Yes bass line is seared into the auditory memory of many of the musicians: an early-1960s Rickenbacker strung with roundwounds and played with a heavy-gauge nylon pick.
With their punchy treble, solid bottom end, and ringing sustain, Rickenbacker basses helped forge the sound of classic rock in the capable hands of progressive bassists such as Chris Squire, Paul McCartney, and Geddy Lee.
It's an iconic sound, and there's only one way to get it, get a Rick!
*This 1999 4003 Rickenbacker bass is in great shape overall, especially for its age. There are some minor cosmetic imperfections such as some very minor dings on the body that are so hard to see in the photos & a small mark on the top back corner of the headstock. (See all pics). Nothing major that would affect the functionality or sound. Everything is tested and working as it should. Save with this iconic bass and get a Rick from an era that is more sought after than the brand new ones!
**Case is in decent shape also, all latches are working and tested. Couple issues, one is the handle needs to be replaced, it is literally just duct tape, one of the feet on the bottom is missing, cosmetic imperfections on the outside. But, this original case will still keep the bass safe and sound! (Better the case than the bass anyway). No other accessories included.
