Seymour Duncan APH-2s Alnico II Pro Slash Signature Humbucker Zebra Reverse Zebra Set
Slash was given the honor of having a Gibson Les Paul Special model built, then Seymour Duncan sent over the same Alnico II Pro humbuckers that he used for decades. Turns out, the new guitars sounded noticeably different than the original. These pickups made a whole new signature sound just like the original AFD Les Paul. The Slash Signature Model Humbucker was born.
Using a different mag wire and winding specs, when combined with the alnico 2 bar magnet, it provided what was needed to push a stock Les Paul toward that familiar sound ad characteristics of Slash's original Derrig Les Paul copy.
